Klamath Youth Baseball & Softball (KYBS) is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide the best possible opportunity for boys and girls in our community to participate in and enjoy playing baseball and softball.
City of Klamath Falls owned. Kiger Stadium, formerly known as Gem Stadium, is one of only two remaining all-wood stadiums in North America. Historic Kiger Stadium has hosted thousands of amateur baseball games, from Little League through American Legion through the semi-pro incarnation of the Gems.
Klamath Youth Baseball & Softball facilitates 4 summer baseball teams; the Falcons, Eagles, Cardinals, and Hawks. Each team features an extremely talented group of players from the Klamath Basin.
Klamath Youth Baseball and Softball is a non-profit organization (501c3). Our mission is to provide the best possible opportunity for boys and girls in our community to participate in, and enjoy playing baseball and softball.
In 2018 we assisted baseball and softball travel teams ranging in age from 9 to 19 years old. Our community should be extremely proud of our teams, as all of these groups enjoyed success this past season.
In addition to assisting these teams, Klamath Youth Baseball and Softball took over the responsibility for operating Kiger Stadium in 2016, and during the summer of 2017 we hosted the American Legion State Baseball Tournament.
We are hosting the 2019 American Legion State Baseball Tournament in Klamath Falls.
KYBS currently has the following teams playing under its umbrella:
